I love Wal-Mart: Alternative Energy

Wal-Mart has taken the initiative to create experimental stores that boast such things as wind & solar power, recycled asphalt, little/no water landscape, and more!

I love this idea.  I used to work for Wal-Mart and have always found them to be a great company.  I know many people think otherwise, but I have yet to be convinced of their arguments.

Follow the link below to find out more of what this “bad” company is doing to while others only talk about it.  Hurray Wal-Mart!

Chocolate generates electrical power

Microbiologist Lynne Mackaskie and her colleagues at the University of Birmingham in the UK have powered a fuel cell by feeding sugar-loving bacteria chocolate-factory waste.

We wanted to see if we tipped chocolate into one end, could we get electricity out at the other?

I would love to pull up to the Hersey factory to fuel my car!

jet-powered VW

This guy put a jet engine on a VW bug. My opinion = use you time and money on more important things.  Screw you for wasting my time watching a video about how much money you blew on something that does nothing other than make you the fastest dork on the road.

Free Energy - The N-Machine

Free Energy - The N-Machine

UH. Well I wish I had a PHD in physics to understand but I think we have just solved one of the world's largest problems! If it works, why isn't everyone and their mother jumping on this, perfecting it and selling it to the world! On reason is because the scientific community is disregarding it before even looking at it because it goes against the principle that you cannot generate more energy that is inputted. The N-Machine laughs at this. I am just freaking gitty with excitement over this if you can't tell.

Crap, someone with knowledge about this machine (seemingly developed awhile back) please comment! In the meantime, those of your with limited knowledge like me can just read the above linked article.

GE has gone Green

Well they are at least trying.

Spending $1.5 billion in the next 5 years to further research in more environmentally friendly technologies. While this is a step in the right direction, wouldn't it be nice to see drastic innovation?

You may have heard of a variation of this story: give the most powerful man in the world aids and in one year you will have the cure for it. In any event I believe that if everyone would collaboratively focus intently on one topic we could fix it and then move onto the next problem. This is my dream at least. Maybe that's why I was put on this earth…to build an information system so grand that all scientist will be able to collaborate and cure. HEHE, pipe dream; but a nice one!
